Speak out on Friday!

Idahoans have the rare opportunity to weigh in their opinions on the future of our healthcare safety net for Idaho. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee is holding the public Health + Welfare budget hearing this Friday, January 28th from 8-11am. 

This is your chance to get involved!

All testimony should focus on the healthcare budget and ideas to preserve vital service. Be concise and specific. Your comments should be constructive and polite and focus on what programs/projects you believe need to be cut or preserved and suggestions for a better healthcare system in Idaho.   Say things like you think Repeal sales tax exemptions that benefit the wealthy, go after money that the tax commission says is owed to the state, raise beer and wine tax or cigarette taxes, etc.
