How do I register to vote?

First, you can check whether you’re registered to vote through the Idaho Votes website. If you are not registered, you can register to vote on election day at your polling place. You will need a photo ID and proof of residence.

You can find your legislative and congressional districts by visiting the Idaho Votes website and entering the number and street of your residence. You can also view the District 17 map.

Where do I vote?

Can can find your polling place by visiting the Idaho Votes website. Once you enter your information, you will find local polling place information and directions.

Am I eligible to vote?

You can find specific eligibility requirements on the Idaho Votes website.
If you have a felony but have fulfilled your responsibilities associated with it, you can vote as long as you re-register. Individuals convicted of a felony are ineligible to vote while incarcerated, on parole, or on probation. Voting rights are automatically restored upon completion of all supervised release.

Can I vote without photo identification?

Yes, if you sign the Personal Identification Affidavit, which means that you swear your identity under penalty of perjury, a felony under 34-1114, Idaho Code. More information is available on the Idaho Votes website.
